Fanfold cardboard (officially FEFCO 0130) is a cardboard sleeve without a closed bottom or lid. The cardboard is produced as a continuous strip or wrap and cut to the desired length on the packaging line. This way, you always adapt the packaging to the product, not the other way around. This type of packaging is also referred to as a “sleeve wrap,” “wrap-around box,” or “sleeve box,” depending on the sector and use.
The construction slides over your product like a sleeve. The “endless” nature refers to the fact that the height is freely adjustable: you adapt the box to the height you need at that moment.
