Custom fresh produce trays: the right tray for your fresh product

No compromise on size, coating, or printing. We produce cardboard fresh produce trays to the exact dimensions for your product — moisture-resistant, stackable, and printable with your brand.

A tray that does not fit costs you more than you think

A standard tray that is too large allows your product to shift and get damaged. Too small, and the shelf presentation is incorrect. Without the right moisture coating, the tray collapses due to condensation in the cold store. And without printing, there is no brand experience.

The result: damaged products, higher rejection rates, and complaints from retailers or end customers. And with every new season or new product, the search begins again.

A custom tray solves that problem.
And cardboard helps too: fruit and vegetables packed in cardboard stay fresh for an average of 3 days longer than in plastic (source: research by the University of Bologna).

Cardboard fresh produce trays tailored to your fresh product

J&S Packaging supplies fresh produce trays in corrugated or solid cardboard. This gives the tray its characteristic rigidity and flat surface, ideal for printing and optimal in-store presentation.

Available versions:

  • Kraft corrugated cardboard (E/F/N flute)
  • Natural kraft solid board
  • With color printing (flexo or offset) for an optimal brand experience
  • With optional ventilation holes
  • With optional extra PE coating on the inside and outside for moist products

The right cardboard for every fresh produce application

Corrugated cardboard

E/F/N flute, with kraft liner on the inside and outside or with PE coating on the inside and outside. Available with or without print.

Solid board

Solid cardboard sheet — rigid, compact, and flat. The standard for fresh produce trays presented in stores or at the market. Excellent printability, available in multiple weights.

Solid board with PE coating

The same rigidity, but treated against moisture absorption. Essential for wet or moist products, refrigerated environments, or when condensation is a risk.
