Custom boxes — exactly the right size for your product

No compromise on size. We design the die-cut template, produce test boxes, and deliver a box that fits tightly around your product, not the other way around.

What are custom boxes?

A custom box is not a standard size from a catalogue. It is packaging that you develop together with us, tailored to your product, your brand, and your production line.

That starts with the dimensions. We calculate the internal dimensions based on your product, with the correct clearance for a secure yet snug fit. Then, if necessary, we design the die-cut template: the cutting die used to punch your box from cardboard sheets. You will receive a technical drawing with all cutting lines and dimensions, so your designer can immediately start on the graphic design.

Before production starts, you will receive a test box: a physical sample that you can see, feel, and evaluate. Only once you are satisfied do we proceed to production.

From initial conversation to delivery, here is how it works:

1. Intake

Do you already know what you need? Then we go straight to the quote. Not sure yet? Then we will ask you a few targeted questions about your product, weight, use, and requirements. Based on that, we advise on the best box type and material.

2. Quote + samples

You will receive a customized quote. Along with it, we send a test box so you can physically evaluate the material and construction before production begins.

3. Die-cut template + design

We provide the die-cut template (stamping die) with a detailed technical drawing: cutting lines, fold lines, and dimensions. Your designer uses this as the basis for the graphic design. Optional: we can also engage a designer for you.

4. Print proof

Before full production starts, you check the proof. This eliminates the risk of errors in the entire print run.

5. Production & delivery

Average of 2 to 3 weeks for a completely new custom project. Delivery via our own transport or courier, with storage service available on request.

Frequently asked questions about custom boxes

The price depends on the size, material, printing, and volume. You pay a one-time fee for the die-cut template (stamping die). After that, the cost per box decreases as your order volume increases. Request a quote for an accurate calculation tailored to your situation.
A die-cut template (also called a stamping die or cutting die) is the mold used to cut your box from a cardboard sheet. It is a one-time investment. As long as you use the same box size, you do not need to have a new die-cut template made. The template remains with us and is always available for reorders.
We deliver from 1 pallet and from 100 units. For small runs, we opt for digital printing, which involves no plate costs. This makes a custom box financially feasible even for smaller volumes.
Yes, always. We produce a test sample for approval before full production starts. We only begin once you have given your approval.
A completely new custom project takes an average of 4 to 5 weeks after approval of the die-cut template. Reorders using an existing template are faster. Urgent delivery is possible at an additional cost.
