Damaged fruit upon arrival is a complaint you can easily avoid
One apple rubbing against another. A mango arriving bruised. Fresh products are fragile, transport is rough — and the customer only sees the result upon arrival.
Packing sheets form the buffer between your product and the harsh reality of transport and storage. They cost little but prevent a lot.
Paper packing sheets: simple and effective
Kraft paper placed between or around fresh produce absorbs moisture, cushions shocks, and prevents direct contact between products or with the packaging walls.
Available versions:
- Kraft paper (protection for delicate fruit)
- White or natural brown
- Custom-cut or in standard sizes
- Available in rolls or sheets
Where are packing sheets used?
- Fruit — Citrus, apples, pears, mangoes, grapes, cherries. Prevents abrasion damage from contact between fruits.
- Vegetables — Tomatoes, peppers, asparagus. Separation between layers reduces pressure damage.
- Farmers’ markets & direct sales — Natural appearance, also popular for gift packaging.
