Corrugated layer pads: layer separation for safe pallet stacking

Boxes collapsing during transport, products damaged by the weight of the top layer. A layer pad prevents this, for a fraction of the cost of a return shipment.

What are layer pads used for?

Layer separation
A layer pad separates the layers of products on a pallet. This prevents any box or product from sinking into the space of another layer.

Weight distribution
Without a layer pad, the full weight of the top layer rests on the corners of the boxes below. A layer pad distributes that weight across the entire pallet surface and extends the shelf life of the packaging.

Stability
A well-constructed pallet with layer pads is more stable during transport. Less shifting, fewer damaged products, fewer returns.

Protection
Layer pads protect the top of products from pressure from screws, hooks, or the weight of lifting mechanisms and forklifts.
