Telescopic boxes: no tape required, minimal storage space, and available with PE coating if desired

Delivered flat. Easy to assemble. No tape required for pallet stacking. Immediately available in the sizes you use most often.

What are telescopic boxes?

Boxes consisting of two or three pieces: a cardboard base, an optional extra base plate, and a lid. All cardboard types are possible, but solid board provides the best protection and the sleekest finish for food applications.

Telescopic boxes can be used in both automated and manual production lines. Additionally, they are delivered flat, reducing transport and storage volume to a minimum. Furthermore, these boxes are perfectly printable for a professional presentation.

When stacking on pallets, the lid does not need to be secured: the construction holds itself in place. Sending individual boxes by mail or courier? Simply apply a piece of tape over the seam.

Popular for meat, fish, cosmetics, printing houses, and clothing. In the industry, also referred to as “outer boxes” or “flame boxes.”

Choose the cardboard that suits your product

Corrugated cardboard (single or double wall)

Lightweight, strong, and immediately available. Suitable for most applications: printing, clothing, food. Available in brown and white.

Solid board — the strongest choice

No flute structure, maximum rigidity. Provides a sleek, premium appearance and allows for sharper printing. Solid board with PE coating also offers extra moisture resistance. Popular for meat, fish, cosmetics, luxury packaging…

Extra PE coating

For fresh products in refrigerated environments, we recommend an extra PE coating on top of your cardboard. This prevents the cardboard from swelling as quickly when in contact with moisture or condensation.

Printing from simple to full-colour

Telescopic boxes can be printed on both the base and the lid.

  • Flexographic printing — Cost-efficient for logos and product data for larger volumes.
  • Offset printing — Sharp full-colour images. The best choice for luxury and branded products.
  • Digital printing — Cost-effective even for small print runs, without plate costs.

Customization in terms of printing and finishing (varnish, lacquer, spot UV) is available for discussion.
