Crash-lock bottom boxes: packing without folding or tape

The bottom unfolds itself. You fill it. Done. No misfolded bottoms, no tape, no delays. Ideal for packaging lines where speed matters. J&S Packaging supplies custom crash-lock bottom boxes for food, retail, e-commerce, and industry.

How does a crash-lock bottom work?

With a crash-lock bottom box, the bottom flaps are already glued together in the factory in a specific pattern. When you pull the folded box open, the bottom automatically unfolds and clicks into place. No extra steps, no tape, and no risk of a poorly folded bottom.

The result is a more stable base than a standard box with four flaps. The glued construction distributes the weight of the contents better across the walls, making the box less likely to collapse.
